In the Fall 2023 semester, I embarked on an independent study with my advisor, Scott Susong. The goal was to organize, create, and perform a one woman, concert style performance. The show was meant to showcase my growth as a performer, music and theatre that meant a lot to me, and to entertain my peers and professors.

I soon found out that this concert would be much more challenging than I could have ever imagined. It seemed as though the universe wanted to throw as much as it could my way to see if I could still pull it off. And you know what? I think I did just that!

I am so proud of how this concert came together. I could not have done it if it wasn't for the efforts of Scott Susong, Nole Jones, and Charles Berggren. Despite everything that was going on in the world, and on campus, this show brought a community together to celebrate why we do what we do; why we are artists to the core.
